This Privacy Policy applies to Signal Rack, developed by Baturay Koc.
Signal Rack is an audio mixing and Audio Unit hosting app designed to process live audio, play selected audio files, host compatible instruments and effects, receive MIDI input, and save mixing sessions locally on your device.
Signal Rack does not automatically collect or transmit personal information to the developer. The app does not require an account and does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Signal Rack stores session information locally to support its features. If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to include in your message, as described below.
Signal Rack processes audio locally on your device. Audio may come from a microphone, connected audio interface, selected audio file, built-in sound source, or compatible Audio Unit instrument.
Audio may be held temporarily in memory for playback, mixing, metering, routing, and effect processing. Signal Rack itself does not create recordings of live input or upload audio to the developer or external servers.
Audio is supplied to the plug-ins you load and, when you select a supported app output, to the receiving app. Those plug-ins and apps may process or record audio according to their own features and privacy practices.
Signal Rack requests microphone permission when needed to use live audio input, including input from a connected audio interface. This access is used to process and route the audio you select.
You can grant or revoke microphone permission in your device’s privacy settings. Features that require live audio input will not work without the necessary permission.
Signal Rack accesses audio files you select through the system file picker for local playback and processing.
To restore a session, the app may save a reference to a selected file together with its name, duration, sample rate, and channel count. Signal Rack does not upload these files or their information to the developer.
If you select files from a cloud storage provider, downloading and managing those files is handled by that provider and the operating system under their own privacy policies.
Signal Rack receives MIDI messages from sources made available by the operating system, such as connected controllers, virtual MIDI connections, and configured network MIDI sources.
These messages are used to control instruments and compatible plug-ins. Signal Rack does not send MIDI performance data or MIDI device information to the developer.
Signal Rack saves the current session and any named sessions locally on your device. Saved information may include session and channel names, mixer settings, audio routing selections, tempo, plug-in identifiers, presets, plug-in state, and references to selected audio files.
This information is used to restore your setup. Signal Rack does not transmit it to the developer or provide its own cloud synchronization service.
You can delete named sessions through the app’s session list. Device backups may include locally stored app data, depending on your operating system and backup settings.
Signal Rack can host compatible third-party Audio Unit plug-ins and route audio to compatible apps where supported.
Loaded plug-ins receive the audio, MIDI, and host information needed for their operation. Third-party plug-ins and receiving apps may have their own network connections, recording features, or data collection practices.
This Privacy Policy applies to Signal Rack. Please review the privacy policies of any third-party plug-ins or apps you use.
Signal Rack’s core mixing and audio processing features do not require an internet connection. Signal Rack does not send audio, session information, or personal data to developer-operated servers.
Network access may be involved when you use configured network MIDI sources, cloud-based file providers, or third-party plug-ins with online features. Those connections are governed by the relevant service or software provider’s practices.
Signal Rack does not include analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.
The app may write operational messages to the device’s system logs for troubleshooting. Signal Rack does not automatically upload those logs to the developer.
Diagnostics collected or shared by the operating system are governed by your device settings and Apple’s privacy practices.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, your message, and any attachments or other information you choose to provide.
We use this information to respond to your request and investigate reported issues. Email communications are processed and stored through our email provider, Gmail, under its applicable privacy practices.
We do not sell or rent personal information. Signal Rack does not automatically share personal information with advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers.
Audio and MIDI supplied to selected plug-ins or receiving apps, and information you voluntarily send by email, are handled as described in the sections above.
Signal Rack does not automatically collect personal information from children or other users. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, please contact us.
You can manage microphone permission in your device settings, choose which files and plug-ins to use, and delete saved sessions in the app.
If you have sent us personal information through support communications, you may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
